UK High Court Rules Digital Surveillance Under DRIPA Unlawful

The UK’s High Court has ruled that sections of controversial surveillance legislation, the Data Retention and Investigatory Powers Act (DRIPA), violated article 7 and 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) as well as personal data protections afforded to British citizens.
