Non-Profit Calls on Google to Take Action Against Chinese Government Censorship Online

Non-profit organization GreatFire.org is asking Google to take the lead on ending online government censorship in China through encryption and mirroring. The statement is in response to a speech last week by Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt where he said encryption was the answer to ending government censorship.
