Cyber Criminals Exploit Password Managers to Gain Access to Master Passwords

Designed to securely store strong passwords, password manager software is now becoming a target of cyber criminals. This week, IBM’s cyber security division Trusteer has reported a new configuration of the Citadel trojan which is designed to steal a master password that provides access to all individual accounts.
